Krissy & RJ knew exactly what they wanted when it came to their Engagement Photographs. So much so that when we resigned to the fact that there wasn’t enough time to coordinate schedules, travel and venue reservations to hold the shoot before their marriage, we simply adjusted the shoot date to 6 months after their wedding! It was to be a ‘Books and Cocktails’ themed shoot. Or as I like to call it: Literate & Libations (Got a nice ring to it, no?)
Here they are folks. I am endlessly fond of these photos and the people in them. Reuniting after the wedding was like getting together with friends. Actually, that’s EXACTLY what it was. We spent the day in Rochester NY – splitting our time between Small World Used Book Store and Nox Cocktail Lounge in the Village Gate – Big thanks to the good folks at both of those establishments for allowing us the use of your venue for this unique project! We shared a few cocktails after we wrapped and immersed ourselves in conversation of family, cocktail-ing, the state of education in the Western World and the road ahead. I am grateful for this day. …and for a life that allows me these experiences and company through the work that I do.
