I recently had a food photography assignment with (585) Magazine at Umai Revolving Sushi in Pittsford, NY.
The restaurant sits near the busy corner where the new Whole Foods has recently opened. It features a conveyor belt that brings a variety of sushi options to your table, a custom menu and even features a robot that assists with the ordering process and delivery of beverages and special items. The sushi rolls were as creative as they were delicious, and the presentation was top-notch.
As a food photographer, it was a joy to tell the story of this unique dining experience. I wish them the best of luck in their venture, and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
